Sheryl Reyes, known as an agent of several imports in the PBA and the ASEAN Basketball League, passed away due to cancer. She was 39.
Fellow agent and San Miguel Alab Pilipinas owner Charlie Dy confirmed Reyes’ passing through his social media accounts Saturday night. Reyes had been battling cancer since last year.
Reyes was regarded for bringing imports in both leagues, including Justin Brownlee and Renaldo Balkman.
Brownlee became her most famous client after leading Barangay Ginebra San Miguel to three PBA titles and Alab to an ABL championship in 2018.
She also was responsible for bringing in former NBA star and Chinese Basketball Association great Stephon Marbury in the country on a number of occasions.
