Bajaj Philippines, producer of the three-wheeler RE 4S now serving as public transportation in some LGUs wants to start mobilizing the budding entrepreneur. First introducing themselves as a safer tricycle and personal transport option, Bajaj Philippines has added new models to their lineup, the RE Special Edition, Maxima Z, and Maxima Cargo.
These new additions build upon the functionality of the first RE with more powerful engines, varied cabins, and features designed to cater to entrepreneurs.
Bajaj RE Special Edition
Based on the Bajaj RE, the first model offered by Bajaj Philippines, the Special Edition upgrades it with new features. Instead of a soft canvas roof, the Special Edition now comes with a hard resin roof and solid resin doors both for added safety and improved comfort. It’s powered by a 198.88cc engine that includes fuel injection, a new hot air deflector, and dual oil filter for more reliable and smoother operation. Designed for both cargo and transport use is the new Maxima Z. The Maxima Z is powered by a larger 236cc fuel-injected engine. This engine can produce 11 Ps at 4,500 rpm and 20.45 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. It’s paired with a 4-speed transmission with reverse gear that can take it up to 62 km/h.
To take on the extra weight of cargo or passengers, it’s fitted with a twin coilspring front suspension and a heavy duty (constant velocity) CV shaft. It features a rear bench seat that can easily be pushed forward to create up to 800 liters of cargo space. It can carry up to 330 kg of cargo
It’s available in three colors and priced at PhP209,999.
