Caloocan claimed the other seat in the Metro League U17 Division Finals after edging Quezon City, 76-74, in the Northern Division final at the Niagara Industrial Equipment Corporation Gym in Caloocan on Saturday night.

The Junior Supremos hung on despite a late run from the Junior Capitals to set up a Finals date with the Bacoor Agimat.

Caloocan broke out of a 61-all tie and took a 75-67 lead with 2:42 remaining.

However, QC went on a 7-0 run to trim the lead down to just one, 75-74, with seven seconds left.

The Junior Supremos were able to milk some time before Denniere Pancho was fouled with only two seconds left.

Pancho made a split from the line, and Ahmad El-Hag grabbed the offensive rebound that iced the game.

John Sherick Estrada made 21 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block for Caloocan.

Alexandre Gazzingan added 15 points, while Pancho and El-Hag each got 11.

Alfonso Buot made 18 points, three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block for QC.

Rolan Polizon chipped in 15 markers, 10 boards, two dimes, two steals, and two rejections.
