The Alaska Fortified IRONKIDS Virtual Run will hold its last leg on Oct. 17-18 as part of their campaign to keep the kids active despite the pandemic.
The all-digital running program for kids is part of the Alaska IRONKIDS Philippines Keep Fit at Home program which consists of virtual races and activities.
Weekly video on demand online episodes featuring tips and techniques on how to keep fit at home are available for participants to prepare for their virtual runs.

De Leon-Brown will be teaching morning exercises on Oct 17.
The virtual runs are open for participants as young as four years old up to 14 years old in various age group categories. Major distance events are 1K, 1.5K, 2K and 3K.
Participants can run outdoors or use a treadmill for the race, then log in their times online.
Previous legs were held last Oct. 3-4 and Oct. 10-11.
