The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced on Friday that there will be scheduled power interruption in some parts of Luzon from July 29 to August 3.

According to Meralco, some areas in Camarin, Caloocan City; Sampaloc and Pandacan Manila; Pembo, Makati City; Cupang, Muntinlupa; Pasay City; Parañaque City; Project 3, Quezon City; Quezon City; Naic and Carmona, Cavite; Bulacan; San Pedro City, Laguna; Lucena City, Quezon Province; Binangonan and Antipolo City, Rizal will experience power interruption for preventive maintenance for upgrading, reconductoring works, line reconstruction and conversion works, and replacement of electricity poles.

From Monday to Tuesday (July 29 – 30), between 11:00 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday (July 30) Project 3, Quezon City will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Molave St. from near Lauan St. to and including Banuyo, Yakal and Batino Sts.; and Batino Elementary School in Bgys. Amihan and Duyan – Duyan;
  • Portion of Narra St. from Callejon St. from near Molave St. sa Bgy. Amihan.

From Monday to Tuesday (July 29 – 30), between 11 p.m and 4 a.m., Tuesday (July 30) Carmona, Cavite will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Governor Drive from near Bgy. Maduya Barangay Hall to Maduya Day Care Center in Bgy. Maduya.

On Tuesday (July 30) between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sampaloc, Manila will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas as the ones that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Dapitan St. from Mayon Ave. to and from, including Baco, Mariveles, Iba, Dr. Alejos, Iriga and Isarog Sts.

On Tuesday (July 30) between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Naic, Cavite will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas as the ones that will be affected by the brownout:

 

  • The Main Road from Governor’s Drive to and including Pasinaya Homes Central Subd. and Ciudad Nuevo Subd.; and Naic Municipal High School Annex in Bgys. Sabang and Timalan Balsahan.

On Tuesday (July 30) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lucena City, Quezon will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas as the ones that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Lucena Diversion Road from Tayabas – Lucena Road to and including Ridgewood Park Subd., Purok Masigasig, San Isidro Subd. and St. Peter Subd. II (North) in Bgy. Gulang – Gulang.

On Tuesday (July 30) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Binangonan, Rizal will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas as the ones that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of San Bernardo St. from Quarry Road to and including Sitio San Valentine in Bgy. Pantok.

From Tuesday to Wednesday (July 30 – 31), it will be Camarin, Caloocan City’s turn to have a  power interruption between 11 p.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday (July 31).

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Camarin Road from Zapote Road to and including Pili, Caimito, Atis and Langka Sts. in PHHC Subd.
  • Portion of Sampaloc St. from Camarin Road to and including Mabolo, Everlasting, Gumamela, Waling – Waling, Dahlia and Parkland Sts. in PHHC Subd.
  • Portion of Durian St. from Sampaloc St. to and including Purok La Loma, Sitio Dagat – Dagatan and Repar Homes.
  • Portion of San Vicente St. from Savemore Market to and including Dalanghita St.; and Camarin Elementary School.
  • Portion of N. Quisumbing St. from Camarin Road to and including Quisumbing Day Care Center.

From Tuesday to Wednesday (July 30 – 31), it will be  Quezon City’s turn to have a  power interruption between 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday (July 31).

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) Southbound Lane from Ermin Garcia Ave. to and near Aurora Blvd. including Monte De Piedad and Harvard Sts.; Victory Bus Terminal, Ramon Magsaysay High School, Mang Inasal, Chowking and Goodleap Apartelle in Bgys. E. Rodriguez, Silangan, Kaunlaran and Pinagkaisahan.
  • Portion of Ermin Garcia Ave. from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) Southbound Lane to and includingThe Bureau of Fire Protection National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) in Bgy. Pinagkaisahan.
  • Portion of New York Ave. from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) Southbound Lane to Detroit St. including Stanford and Denver Sts.; and Universal Storefront Services Corp. in Bgy. Socorro and Pinagkaisahan.

Between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 31).

  • Portion of Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) Northbound Lane to and near Mapagmahal St. to Superlines Bus Terminal including  McDonald’s, Mercury Drug, Shell Canvas, F.F. Cruz & Co. Inc., Excelligent Advertising and Pizza Excellente Premium Corp. in Bgys. Pinyahan, E. Rodriguez and West Kamias.
  • Portion of Kamias Road from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) Northbound Lane to K-G St. including Savemore NEPA Q Mart, Manila Teachers’ Mutual Aid System Inc. and BPC Management Group Inc. in Bgy. West Kamias.
  • Portion of New York Ave. from  Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) Northbound Lane to and including Montreal St.; and Maya Bldg. in Bgy. E. Rodriguez.
    Portion of Annapolis St. from Montreal St. to Aurora Blvd. including Crest Hotel, Kitchilano Inc., Starion Restaurant & Family KTV, Cubao Elementary School, Clixs Hotel and HDI Admix sa Bgy. E. Rodriguez.

On Wednesday (July 31) between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Pembo, Makati will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Target Range Blvd. from Sta. Maria St. to and including Jupiter and Universe Sts.
  • Portion of Cactus St. from Target Range Blvd. to Sampaloc St.

On Wednesday (July 31) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pandacan, Manila will experience the power interruption

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Labores St. from Paco – Sta. Mesa Road (Tomas Claudio) to and from near San Jose St. including Candida St.

On Wednesday (July 31) between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. San Pedro City, Laguna will experience power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas as the ones that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Magsaysay Road from South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) to and including Casa De San Antonio, Petron Gas Station, 7 – Eleven Convenience Store and Monark Equipment Corp. in Bgy. San Antonio.

On Wednesday (July 31) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Antipolo City, Rizal will experience power interruption

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Purok Lower Lucban Phase 5 Road from N.H.A. Ave. in Bagong Nayon 2 Subd. Phase 4B to and including Purok Broadway and Purok Lower Lucban Phase 5 in Bgy. Dela Paz.

From Friday to Saturday (August 2 – 3), it will be Cupang, Muntinlupa City’s turn to have power interruption between 11:30 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. Saturday (August 3)

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Don Jesus Blvd. from South Luzon Expressway West Service Road to and including Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church, CDI Sakata, Chemdis Mfg., JMS International and Total Gas Station.
  • Portion of South Luzon Expressway West Service Road from Don Jesus Blvd. from near Rizal Village including Royal Cargo and Astana Cold Chain; Sunblest Compound, JY & Sons Compound and Mintcor Southrow Townhouses.
  • Portion of South Luzon Expressway East Service Road from Liberty Lane to and including Amkor Anam Compound; and Polyfoam RGC International.

On Friday (August 2) between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. ; and between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Bulacan will experience the power interruption

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Portion of Pandi – Angat – Provincial Road from Meralco – Angat substation in Bgy. Santa Cruz, Angat to and including Bgys. Bagong Barrio, Cacarong Bata, Cacarong Matanda, Cupang, Pinagkwartelan, Poblacion, Real De Cacarong, Siling Bata and Siling Matanda in Pandi; Bgys. Encanto and Paltok sa Angat.

 

  • Portion of Angat – Norzagaray Provincial Road from Bgy. Santa Cruz, Angat to and including Bgys. Bangkal, Baraka, Bitungol, Matictic and Poblacion sa Norzagaray.
  • Portion of Angat – Bustos Provincial Road and M. A. Fernando St. from Bgy. Donacion to Pundicion St. including Taboc – Cacarong Barangay Road; Bgys. Taboc, Sulucan, Marungko, Sta. Lucia, Laog, Banaban, Baybay, Binagbag, Donacion, Sto. Cristo, San Roque and Sta. Cruz sa Angat.
  • Portion of Bgys. Bayabas, Camachile and Pulong Sampalok in Doña Remedios Trinidad; Bgy. Pinagtulayan in Norzagaray; Bgys. Sapang Pahalang, Tukod and Pulo in San Rafael; Bgy. Casalat in San Ildefonso; and Bgy. Real De Cacarong in Pandi.
  • Portion of Angat – Norzagaray Provincial Road, Villarama Road and Quirino Highway from Meralco – Angat substation to Newton Drive including Roads 1 & 4, Ipo and Quarry Sts. in Bgys. Sapang Palay, Minuyan and Minuyan proper in San Jose Del Monte City; Bgys. Bangkal, Baraka, Bigte, Bitungol, Matictic, Minuyan, Poblacion, San Mateo and Tigbe sa Norzagaray.

Lastly, on Saturday (August 3) between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.; and between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Pasay City and Parañaque City will experience the power interruption.

Meralco identified the following areas that will be affected by the brownout:

  • Metrobank corner of Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) and Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. in Central Business Park Island A, Pasay City.
  • Portion of Coral Way St. to and near J. W. Diokno Blvd. to Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. including “K” Line Maritime Academy Philippines, Jetti Gas Station and Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant in Central Business Park Island A, Pasay City.
  • Portion of Bradco Ave. from and near Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. to and including S & R Membership Shopping in Aseana Business Park, Bgy. Baclaran, Parañaque City.
  • Portion of Roxas Blvd. from Bayanihan St. to Redemptorist Road including Max’s Restaurant and FPC Building in Bgy. Baclaran, Parañaque City.

Between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday (August 3).

  • Portion of Roxas Blvd. near Redemptorist Road in Bgy. Baclaran, Parañaque City.
