A Chinese fugitive allegedly involved in illegal drug activities was arrested by Manila police in an operation in Clark, Pampanga.
Wang Janquiang, 40, who was arrested on Friday, January 17, was presented to Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Monday.
Police Major Rosalino Ibay Jr. of the Manila Police District Special Mayor’s Reaction Team (MPD SMaRT) said Wang is the alleged leader of a criminal syndicate in Quanzhou, China.
Investigation showed Wang has been living in Manila for a year and is reportedly involved in Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO).
