Palawan was ranked number 1 with a score of 90.87.

According to the magazine, it was the “single most beautiful place” to go to.

Palawan was previously voted as the best island in 2013.

Meanwhile, Cebu was ranked number 7, and Boracay, number 9.

According to Travel + Leisure, the three Philippine islands are ‘long time favorites’ because of top-notch reef, wreck diving, white-sand beaches, hiking trails with waterfalls, and welcoming locals.

Readers based their votes on island’s activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value.

Sri Lanka topped the list with a rate of 92.12.

Also making it to the cut were Bali in Indonesia, Maldives, Koh Lant in Thailand, Naoshima Island in Japan, and Java in Indonesia.
