Sex Education follows Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), a socially awkward high school student who lives with his sex therapist mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson). In Season 1 Otis and his friend Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey) set-up a sex clinic at school to capitalize on his intuitive talent for sex advice.
For the upcoming second season, as a late bloomer Otis must master his newly discovered sexual urges in order to progress with his girlfriend Ola (Patricia Allison) whilst also dealing with his now strained relationship with Maeve. Meanwhile, Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a Chlamydia outbreak, highlighting the need for better sex education at the school and new kids come to town who will challenge the status quo.
Read on and get to know the three newcomers. Which one would you like to hang out with?
Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu)
Moordale isn’t short of young brilliant minds who prioritize getting good grades over getting laid. If you want to hang out with someone smart, look for Viv.
Best qualities: Super-intelligent and a multi-talented academic student, willing to lend a helping hand.
Squad: Moordale’s smartest.
Struggle is real: Viv is anything but talented in love.
Rahim (Sami Outalbali)
This new guy turns heads anywhere he goes. He’s gorgeous PLUS he’s French. Rahim is oozing with sex appeal.
Best qualities: Handsome, chill, and confident.
Squad: Everyone seems to want to join Rahim’s circle.
Struggle is real: His French accent—and pillowy pout—might be too distracting to keep your focus.
Isaac (George Robinson)
Isaac is Maeve’s new neighbor who doesn’t let his disability get the best of him.
Best qualities: Witty, funny, and charming in a sweet non-threatening way.
Squad: He usually hangs out with his brother in the caravan park.
Struggle is real: Isaac is a bit of a prankster and loves to dish out friendly sarcasm, which oddly enough makes him a real charmer.
