Several stars have expressed their support to Kapamilya star Angel Locsin by wearing bold, red lipstick.
This after Locsin was red-tagged for doing humanitarian activities and speaking one’s mind.
Locsin said that she is not part of the New People’s Army or any terrorist group and neither are her sister and brother. She used the hashtags “#NoToRedTagging” and “#YesToRedLipstick.”
Following Locsin’s Instagram post last Friday, some celebrities extended their support to the actress by wearing red lipstick and voicing their opinions on the red-tagging issue.
Pia Magalona posted: “In solidarity with empowered women and in support of Filipinos who are trying to be silenced by the powers that be.”
“dahil sabi ng anak kong si Lyka, #YesToRedLipstick and #notoredtagging in support of our empowered Filipinas. #DarnaDiKaNagiisa,” Agot Isidro shared.
Bituin Escalante and Cherry Pie Picache also shared photos of themselves wearing red lipstick as they condemned red-tagging.
