A day after announcing that his band A1 is set to have a gig in the Philippines, the British-Norwegian boy band guitarist Ben Adams asked fans who could be a female artist to duet with him and survey yielded two names: Sarah Geronimo and Catriona Gray.
Recall that the singer-songwriter-producer announced on Twitter that he is looking for a “well-known South East Asian female artist to duet with on something.”
He attached the post with a hashtag of different countries — Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
On his next tweet, he revealed that the names of Filipina Popstar Princess Sarah and Filipina beauty queen Miss Universe 2019 Catriona Gray came up a lot.
“… now I just need to find their contact details and make it happen! #Philippines (face with party horn and party hat emoji),” he wrote.
Later, Ben shared he had checked out all the videos of and articles about Sarah and he finds her “amazing.”
The foreign artist is said to have already emailed Sarah’s camp, Viva Artist Agency.
“So let’s see what they say……(finger crosses emoji) thanks everyone! #Philippines,” he ended his post.
A1’s hits are “Like A Rose,” “One Last Song,” Heaven By Your Side,” “Everytime,” and “One More Try,” among others.
A1 along with O-Town will have a concert on Nov. 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena for the Play Back Music Festival’s “The Greatest Hits: Live!”
