The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday questioned why Malacañang spent time analyzing the tweets of her daughters when the country is still reeling from the impact of Typhoon Ulysses.
Robredo’s spokesman Barry Gutierrez frowned on Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque for going over these tweets during an online media briefing.

“Good lord, 69 Filipinos killed, 325,000 displaced, over P1.5B in damages, and this administration is now spending it’s time analyzing TWEETS by VP Leni’s daughters,“ he said in a Twitter post.
“Si VP Leni balik agad trabaho. Kayo tatlong araw na ito pa rin ang hanash. Sino nga uli ang namumulitika?” Gutierrez asked.
(VP Leni came back to work. For three days this is still your concern. Who’s again politicking?)
Roque showed screenshots of tweets made by two of Robredo’s daughters, saying they were the ones looking for President Duterte where he was in the aftermath of Ulysses.
Aika, the eldest daughter of the vice president, tweeted, “Sabado eh (It’s Saturday). Weekend.” Her younger sibling, Tricia, also said, “Tulog pa rin? Alas otso na. (Still asleep? It’s already 8 o’clock.)”
The Robredo sisters did not mention any name nor their tweets contain the hashtag #NasaanAngPangulo (where is the president).
Duterte’s sour relationship with Robredo reared its ugly head anew on Tuesday night after he falsely accused her of asking his whereabouts during the onslaught of typhoons.
The vice president has since denied his allegation.
