The camp of Manny Pacquiao denied there is a plan for an exhibition match between the fighting senator and his archrival Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Japan.
“No idea what that is. I am not sure what is happening,” international matchmaker and Manny Pacquiao Promotion President Sean Gibbons told The Manila Times on Sunday via online interview when asked to comment on Mayweather’s latest Instagram posts.
“What I’m working on right now is the Mayweather-Pacquiao exhibition right here in Tokyo, Japan. Stay tuned,” said Mayweather Jr. in an Instagram video post.
“Mayweather vs. Pacquiao exhibition Tokyo Japan coming soon Betrnk.com #TMT Japan.”

Mayweather didn’t mention when the exhibition will take place.
Last August 19, Mayweather posted another statement online claiming he would be fighting Pacquiao in Saudi Arabia.
The Manila Times tried to contact Pacquiao on Mayweather’s latest claim but the fighting senator was unavailable for comment.
