Game time is at 4 p.m. after the seniors game pitting St. Benilde with San Sebastian at 2 p.m. Both teams carry 6-3 slates at fourth place.

Two juniors matches precedes the varsity matches.

In their first round meeting last August 8, Lyceum escaped with an 87-85 thriller in Perpetual’s homecurt home court in Las Piñas.

“We fell short the last time because of a defensive mistake in the final stretch,” Perpetual coach Frankie Lim said. “We will try to do better this time. It’s time to bounce back.”

“Hopefully we can start winning games to have a chance of earning a spot in the playoffs. We’re now in the crucial stage of the tournament, so we have to double our effort.”

Pirates coach Topex Robinson says they are on the same boat.

“Teams are improving because of that one reason and that is all of us are eyeing playoff berths. We also want to keep on improving as a team,” said Robinson, whose team is shooting for a third straight Finals stint.

Another match worth watching is the one between the Blazers and the Stags, two teams looking to rise in the leaderboard for assault at playoff berths.
