Star POP’s newest teen sensation artist Kanishia is ready to breakout to the mainstream music scene with the release of her debut single “A Little Taste of Danger” today, Oct. 16.
Kanishia may be a new face to the recording industry, but her experience in acting singing and dancing topped up by her five-year experience in theater productions means that she is more than ready.
“I started to like singing when I was 7 years old. I enjoy performing onstage and entertaining people, not only showing my talent in singing but also in acting,” Kanishia said.
Her latest single tells about her story and about wanting to go out of one’s comfort zone and exploring more of what life and the world have to offer.
“I was able to relate to the song. Every time I listen to it, I imagine a butterfly coming from a caterpillar,” Kanishia said. “You can bloom once you have enough experience.”
The song was written and composed by singer-songwriter Marion Aunor, and produced by Jack Rufo and ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo.
Headed by Rox Santos, Kanishia is now a part of Star POP—an ABS-CBN Music label for the younger audience.
