Taguig City recorded 5 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) last Friday, June 12.
In a Facebook post, the local government of Taguig reported that the new cases were from Central Signal, Pinagsama, and Western Bicutan.
For the period from January 27 up to June 12, 2020, there have been a total of 1,682 suspected COVID cases, with 21 deaths and 120 recoveries in Taguig.
The local government continues to provide services and programs that aim to promote social distancing and arrest the spread of the dreaded disease.
The city council has also come up with several ordinances like Ordinance No. 12, S-2020, that makes the wearing of face masks mandatory in Taguig.
It also encourages Taguig residents to report on any individual whom they suspect to have contracted the disease.
