According to Mayor Edwin Olivarez, businesses giving basic services like banks, remittance centers, and utilities namely electricity, water, telco supplies and facilities will be allowed to open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Olivarez said that the abovementioned establishments will be allowed to open up to 8 p.m. to receive their delivery of supplies and stocks.

He said that the new guideline is also applicable to groceries, supermarkets, and convenience stores every day while Metro Manila and Luzon are under enhanced community quarantine.

The mayor added that markets will only be allowed to open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the sari-sari stores will be open only from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Olivarez said restaurants, carinderia, and other eateries are also allowed to operate, but they are not allowed to accept customers inside their establishments.

“They can only accept takeout and delivery orders. No dine in inside their establishments. We have to strictly impose the practice of social distancing to avoid the spread of the virus in the city,” Olivarez said.
