Navotas City’s second most wanted man, who was tagged in the murder of a man in 2016, was nabbed at Barangay North Bay Boulevard South (NBBS) Proper Wednesday morning.
Arrested was Jayson Agcaoili Del Rosario, 32, fisherman, resident of Barangay Tangos, Navotas City. He is accused of killing a certain Apolinario Eyana in October 2016 by stabbing him on the neck.
Police said Eyana was unarmed and defenseless when he was stabbed dead by the suspect.
Elements of the Navotas City Police Station Intelligence Branch and Warrant and Subpoena Section served a warrant for Del Rosario’s arrest at about 10:20 a.m. after they found his whereabouts following years of a manhunt operation.
Navotas City Regional Trial Court Branch 287 Judge Romana Lindayag Del Rosario, the judge who is handling the Carl Angelo Arnaiz and Reynaldo de Guzman slay case, penned Del Rosario’s arrest warrant.
The suspect is now under police custody and will be facing charges for murder.
