Former Manila mayor Alfredo Lim cast his vote early Monday morning in Tondo, Manila.
Lim arrived at the Rosauro Almario Elementary School in Zaragoza Street, Tondo, Manila before 8 a.m. on May 13.
He voted at polling precinct 60A, where the voters registration verification machine malfunctioned.
He instead dropped the ballots in a sealed box.
After he voted, Lim said that he would not withdraw from the mayoral race.
He also belied rumors that he conceded to former Manila vice mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso, and said that the “fight would go on.”
Lim served as mayor from 1992 to 1998 and 2004 to 2007 in Manila.
He is also the official candidate of the ruling party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
