In a Facebook post on May 23, ADMU said they have already come up with a “basic education online learning primer.”

The primer “describes how Ateneo de Manila University Basic Education has reimagined school year 2020-2021.”

Because of the threat posed by the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) many educational institutions have opted to hold classes online.

Classes are expected to open in August, despite the pandemic, but as a precautionary measure, experts have advised against the holding of face-to-face classes at least until the COVID-19 threat dissipates or until a cure or vaccine is discovered.
