The labor department epxressed hope that the assistance will be of help to the beneficiaries.

“It is our prayer that the financial assistance provided to you by the government would help you and your families recover. It may not be enough considering the impact of COVID 19 outbreak and the recent typhoons but the department is doing its best to help the affected workers and establishments especially the educational institutions in this difficult and extraordinary time,” Sarah Mirasol, DOLE NCR regional director, said.
