Finale Auctions hosts its live auction on Fine Art on May 18, Saturday
at 2 p.m. Featuring those of outlying but equally masterful artistry, it aims to put into the fore and re-introduce the genre of the still life from a wider and richer perspective that goes beyond the customary.

It will include works by: Fernando Amorsolo-trained Araceli
Dans, known for her iconic delicate embroidered fabrics rendered in watercolor; JD Castro, who completed his studies under Fabian dela Rosa and has worked for the Philippine Film and Stage Shows of Rogelio de la Rosa; Antonio Austria, a full time artist known for showing local quotidian sceneries in his paintings, a textile designer for 10 years and a teacher at his alma mater, University of Santo Tomas for 27 years; Viganborn Venancio Igarta, who moved to the United States to work on a farm in California, janitor in Philadelphia, and eventually an artist in New York; and Onib Olmedo, one of the leading expressionist painters in the country who is adept in both figurative and distorted exaggerations of objects and portraits, among others.

Finale Auctions: Jewelry and Watches will be held on May 19 at 2
p.m. Finale Auctions is thrilled to present its second Watches and Jewelry auction to be held on the 19th of May. The sophomore showing offers incredibly rare timepieces, an extensive watch collection, as well as an exquisite lineup of jewelry. With another one-of-a-kind auction, Finale is determined to once again invite and excite collectors and connoisseurs alike from around the globe. At the pole position of the watches on offer is an example many consider to be a horological holy grail: The Rolex Daytona Reference 6239, Paul Newman Panda. The example up for auction is in pristine condition and shares the exact same reference and dial as Paul Newman’s own watch. This will be one of few chances
available to own one of the most iconic watches in history.

Another exquisite example is a limited edition watch from iconic watch
house and designer Richard Mille. The Richard Mille RM 030 NTPT Asia Exclusive demonstrates equal parts signature design and engineering prowess. Not satisfied with one Richard Mille, an RM 028 will also be going under the hammer.

Joining this incredible lineup is a large curated collection of 22 Seiko
timepieces, with a selection from limited edition Seiko and Grand Seiko
models. It’s a lot that’s sure to delight both fans of the brand’s storied history as well as enthusiasts looking to dive into the robust designs and unique technology behind their exceptional high-end movements. This will be the first time in the Philippines that a Seiko collection this large and rare will be offered as one lot, all in mint and brand new condition complete with full documentation.

A wide range of Patek Philippe complications are presented as well
as models from the Nautilus line, namely the reference 5980 chronograph, the reference 3710, and a brand new reference 5711. With
their popularity and long waiting lists. these timepieces are highly prized. Limited edition and rare examples from celebrated houses of Audemars Piguet, A. Lange and Sohne, Vacheron Constantin, IWC, and Tudor are also open to bids. An exceptional line-up of vintage Rolex watches will be going under the hammer, including an ultra rare GMT-Master reference 6542 with its instantly recognizable two-tone “Pepsi” bezel, tropical dial examples, and a selection of hard-to-find Daytonas which include a reference 16520 floating dial R-Series, A series, and Patrizzi dial, a reference 6240, and various GMT and Submariner examples including one stamped Tiffany & Co. will be available to discerning collectors.

Last but not least are two examples of UAE stamped Rolex models
and an exceptionally rare GMT “Batman” custom piece made for the Sultanate of Oman. To complement this outstanding lineup, Finale Auctions will be presenting a broad range of jewelry pieces including investment grade diamond and colored gemstone pieces in both modern and vintage variations. Top of the list is a stunning 6.89-carat GIA certified fancy intense yellow diamond ring, a Bulgari Serpenti collection necklace, and a fine pink sapphire and diamond necklace. The impressive selection of rings features a five-carat brilliant cut diamond ring, three-carat heart shaped diamond ring, and three-carat marquise diamond ring. Other alluring pieces include blue sapphire and diamond floral pendant earrings and an attractive pair of diamond pendant earrings with two-carat heartshaped diamonds. Adding some fun and whimsy to the auction lineup are colored sapphire floral pendant
earrings, a 27-carat amethyst ring, a modern diamond cocktail ring, and
yellow gold spray brooch. Cultured diamond offerings include various stud and pendant earrings and solitaire rings.
