Here are some of the more exciting titles announced at the Netflix Anime Festival 2020
Sixteen new anime titles. That’s how many Netflix has in store for otaku all over the world.
But excluding the anime version of Trese, which is what excites most Pinoys the most, and the already leaked and then later officially confirmed Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, we list down some of the more interesting titles announced at #NetflixAnimeFes.

Pacific Rim: The Black
Who doesn’t like more giant mecha fighting kaijus, right? Set before the events of the films, Pacific Rim: The Black focuses on the kaiju attacks on Australia. At the Netflix Anime Festival, they showed the opening credits for the series, and it looked really impressive.
B: The Beginning, Succession
One of the first successful anime titles on Netflix, B: The Beginning was intriguing in its own right. Now, three years after it first streamed, it’s second season is finally coming.
Vampire in the Garden
Set in a world where humanity has lost the war with vampires, this anime explores the life of a girl named Momo as she tries to search for a “paradise” where she can prove that humans and vampires can have a future together.
A historical fiction series based on actual Japanese history, Yasuke is an anime about one of the most intriguing characters in Japanese history. Records show that sometime during the Sengoku jidai, Oda Nobunaga had a retainer who was of African origin. The mysterious black man, who was simply called Yasuke, supposedly arrived in Japan as an assistant to an Italian Jesuit missionary.
Baki is a classic. Following from the ‘90s manga to the early 2000s series, the third and final installment in the Baki the Grappler saga is coming to Netflix. As the climax of the story, it will feature Baki and his father Yujiro Hanma.
Here’s a new old anime. Spriggan is a title that first came out as a manga, serialized from 1989 to 1996, and later adapted into an anime in 1998. Its story revolves around the search for mysterious artifacts left behind by an ancient civilization.
Coming in February 2021, High-Rise Invasion is a Netflix original anime based on the hugely successful action-horror, survival manga series Tenkuu Shinpan by Tsuina Miura and Takahiro
