TWICE’s Mina will no longer join her fellow members in the remaining dates of their ‘TWICELIGHTS’ world tour.
In a statement posted in TWICE’s official fan page, JYP Entertainment — the group’s management — revealed that Mina is “currently struggling with sudden extreme anxiety and insecurity toward performing on stage.”
“No exact diagnosis has been identified yet. We are consulting with several medical professionals to verify the cause in detail,” JYPE added.
The management said Mina’s withdrawal from the world tour was a unanimous decision between all members of TWICE.
“We have decided that Mina’s current condition requires additional treatment, professional measures, and sufficient resting,” JYPE said.
“[The] health of our artists is our top priority and most important thing,” the management added.
JYPE vowed to “do everything” for Mina’s fast recovery and asked for fans’ support and well wishes for the TWICE main dancer and vocalist.
TWICE still has six remaining shows for their TWICELIGHTS world tour.
MIna’s last concert performance with the group prior the announcement of her health condition was in Manila last June 29.
