Two drug suspects yielded over P4-million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation at Barangay 171 in Caloocan City Saturday night.
Arrested were Abdul Sulong, 33, purified water installer; and Taya Sulong, 65, jobless; both residents in the area.
Police said Abdul was the target of the drug sting and is included in the barangay’s drug watchlist.
Elements of the Caloocan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit and Llano Police Sub-Station conducted the drug bust at around 8:20 p.m.
Investigation showed that the two suspects were arrested after they sold a plastic bag of suspected shabu worth P70,000 to a poseur buyer.
Seven bags of suspected shabu weighing 600 grams with an estimated worth of P4,080,000 were retrieved from the suspects.
Also recovered were drug paraphernalia, a black shoulder bag, and the marked money.
The suspects are now under police custody and will be facing charges in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
