After getting mired in controversy expressing her opinion and beliefs online, Liza Soberano is now avoiding social media, going on to ask for her fans’ understanding.
“Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA (missing in action) for a while,” she wrote on Twitter.
The 22-year-old actress explained that she had quite a trying time in the past few months and that she’s just spending time with her family.
“But I do constantly have all of you at the back of my mind and I just want to say thank you so much for all the love and support everyone has been showing me these past months. It’s honestly been a very trying time for me and I wanted to express how I was feeling with all of you but it was just too soon for me,” she related.
Liza pointed out that she just “needed” to take a break and think about life, her goals, and her mission in life.
