Synth-pop singer, songwriter, and producer Lauv returns to the Philippines for a two-night concert as part of his 2019 Asia Tour.
The much anticipated show on May 20 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum produced by AEG Presents and Ovation Productions will be Lauv’s first ever headline tour in Asia, and his first ever arena show in Manila. The second night will be as exciting for Cebuanos as Lauv makes his live debut on May 21 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
Lauv has two new songs out now which will be part of his forthcoming album “How I’m Feeling.” His first collaboration with Troye Sivan, “I’m So Tired…,” was a massive hit with over 208 million streams on Spotify and quickly rose to Top 8 in the United Kingdom, becoming Lauv’s first ever Top 10 song on the UK Singles Chart.
Lauv just dropped his newest single Drugs & The Internet last April, and it has accumulated over 10 million Spotify streams in two weeks.
The 2019 Asia Tour even gets better as pop artist on-the-rise Megan Bülow performs for the first time in Manila and Cebu as Lauv’s special guest on both shows.
German-born Megan recently won Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2019 Juno Awards and sang her biggest hit live, anti-romance anthem, “Not A Love Song.” Since its 2017 release, the track has clocked in over 90 million streams across all platforms. She also led the night with three other major nominations, including Pop Album of the Year and Single of the Year.
In the wake of her Juno Awards win, Megan then released the eagerly awaited new EP titled “Crystalline,” following last year’s acoustic track, “Two Punks In Love.” She has two hit EPs under her belt – “Damaged Vol. 1” & “Damaged Vol. 2” – each resonating with critics and new audiences alike. Her entire catalogue, as of writing, is approaching 200 million streams globally.
Lauv’s 2019 Asia Tour live in Manila and Cebu are presented in cooperation with TAP Sports and FOXlife.
