Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of boxing icon and senator, Manny Pacquiao, and their son Jimuel, cleared young actress Heaven Peralejo from any wrongdoing after talk about her reportedly seeking P100,000 in financial assistance from them.
On their respective Instagram accounts, Jinkee and Jimuel shared their statement via a story.
“Gusto ko lang pong sabihin sa lahat about sa issue na lumalabas na nanghingi raw si Heaven ng pera sa amin ay “hindi po totoo!” Hindi po siya nanghingi at wala po kaming binigay na pera. Tigilan na po ang pambabash sa kanila na wala pong katotohanan,” Jinkee wrote.
The 41-year-old socialite then said, “Love one another! God bless us all!”
She also told Heaven to “stay safe and stay beautiful.”
Meanwhile, Jimuel, Jinkee and Manny’s eldest son, also “clarified” the issue as posted by a columnist and entertainment portal, which he said is “false.”
He noted that there was no money given and there was no communication that happened.
“We keep getting involved in these issues and I just want to clear things up. She is not that type of girl and we are on good terms so no need for all the bashing,” the 18-year-old said.
Heaven has also come out to deny the allegation.
“The past few weeks have redefined the public’s impression of me. It was hurtful and I needed some time to think it through,” she started.
The 20-year-old actress-model then added: “I’ll get straight to the point. I didn’t ask anyone for money.”
She noted how she’s beyond grateful that she’s blessed with opportunities to earn an “honest living.”
Heaven declared that whatever she has now is a product of hard work and not extracted from anyone’s pockets.
“Thank you to Jim and his family. I appreciate your efforts to stand with me. As well as to my family, friends, and supporters, thank you for always looking after me. I hope we can all move forward from this issue.”
