The two stars, together with boy band SechsKies’ Eun Ji-won, comedian Hwang Jae Sung and actor Shin Hyun Joon, are currently appearing in the second season of Channel A’s “Star Crews on Board,” a Korean TV show wherein stars become flight attendants for different airlines for one day.

In the upcoming episodes of “Star Crews on Board,” the stars will be on board a flight between the Philippines and Incheon in South Korea and they underwent rigorous training for the job. Cebu Pacific flies from Incheon to Manila, Cebu and Boracay via Kalibo, and vice versa.

Cebu Pacific told Bulletin Entertainment that the Korean stars “were trained as Cebu Pacific cabin crew are trained—they were taught real cabin crew training modules, like grooming, emergency response, inflight catering and the trademark Cebu Pacific Fun Games.”

“Above all, they were inculcated in their responsibility of ensuring safety on a flight, which is the primary duty of cabin crew; and that wearing the uniform, they embody the company’s values. They went through an interview with cabin crew trainers, as the Cebu Pacific selection process includes an interview to gauge the prospective cabin crew’s personality,” said Cebu Pacific spokesperson Charo Logarta-Lagamon.

In the Feb. 8 episode of the show, UEE, Eun Ji-won, Hwang Jae Sung and Shin Hyun Joon were interviewed in Manila by Cebu Pacific’s Jun Acullador and Melodious Mercado, cabin crew managers; and Hyuk Shin Kang, country manager in South Korea.

“It’s very nice to see your beautiful faces here today and welcome to Cebu Pacific,” Mercado told the stars. They were asked why they wanted to be become Cebu Pacific cabin crew and were also requested to show their dance moves.

“Do you know that Cebu Pacific is the first airline in the world to introduce the dancing cabin crew?” Acullador informed them.

Lagamon added that during “the flight, they served as Cebu Pacific cabin crew under the close supervision of actual CEB cabin crew managers” and did all the tasks including serving food to passengers.
