Aicelle Santos proudly represented the Philippines as she bagged second place in the recent ASEAN+3 Song Contest in Quang Ninh, Vietnam.
After her “Miss Saigon” stint, the “Rak of Aegis” star won the silver award for her breathtaking interpretation of Jungee Marcelo’s “Kapangyarihan ng Pag-ibig” in the contest’s final round on Sunday.
Steven Bedolido and Tim Pavino also represented the country in the pop singing competition.
Rosario Nihin Chamini Bianis from Malaysia won the first prize, while Santos shared the second place with Tran Thi Hong Nhung of Vietnam and Myanmar’s Eint Chit got the third prize, as reported by The Voice of Vietnam.
The ASEAN+3 pop singing contest featured 22 professional singers aged 18-35 years old from the 10 ASEAN member states as well as China, Japan and Korea.
