Actor Dominggo “Menggie” Cobarrubias has joined our Creator today.
Reports have it the actor passed away, 8:20 a.m., at a hospital in Alabang. He was 67.
Menggie first visited a hospital in Makati due to fever, where he spent three weeks before he was sent home. Unfortunately, he developed pneumonia which prompted his family to bring him to the hospital where he expired.
It was revealed Menggie has been tested for COVID-19 but results have yet to be released.
According to the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development, one of the common signs of coronavirus infection include flu-like and respiratory symptoms. In severe cases, it can cause pneumonia.
Menggie starred in the movies ” Mauban: Ang Resiko (2014), ” “Jaguar (1979),” ” Impostor (2010),” and more.
